Nearly ninety minutes of the twelve-hour runtime gets filtered, and the sexual content is the reason. Ninety segments cover everything from mild tension to scenes that run well past fifteen minutes of explicit material. Chapter 16 alone has a severe scene that clocks in at a full sixteen minutes, and Chapter 22 is the other one to know about, with twenty-five tagged segments packed into a single chapter. The profanity and blasphemy counts are real but modest. The single severe violence moment is brief. If you are running just a language filter, the book feels almost breezy. Here is my honest take on who this is for. Adult listeners who want the original, cleaned up and are comfortable with romance-genre conventions will find that the same book, same narrator, same story comes through intact in tone and plot, because the plot genuinely holds up without those scenes.
