Is All That Remains Clean? Profanity and Content Guide for the Audiobook
Noticeable filtering across one or more categories. Comfortable to listen to with the right filters on.

I picked this up expecting Patricia Cornwell to be rough around the edges, and she is, but not so rough that you have to bail on the whole thing. All That Remains lands in the Moderate bucket, which means you will notice the filtering working, but you can absolutely finish the book without wincing through anything that makes you regret turning it on during school pickup. Nearly fifteen minutes across just over twelve hours gets cleaned up, spread across 307 segments, and the categories tell an interesting story. Profanity is the loudest category by count, nearly 200 segments, but most of it is mild and the two severe hits are brief. The violence is the one that earns its keep here. Seven severe violence segments and a scene in Chapter 4 that runs nearly a minute and a half is the kind of forensic detail Cornwell built her career on, and it is the real reason this book needs filters rather than the language. Chapter 5 is the busiest single chapter with 32 tagged segments, so heads up if you are driving with kids and want to grab your phone. The slur count is small but includes eight severe tags, and those are human-reviewed calls, not guesses. There is also a lone severe sexual content segment worth knowing about. My recommendation: this is a great fit for true crime fans who want the same book, same narrator, same story, just with the forensic brutality dialed back to something you can handle on a commute. Run profanity, violence, and slur filters together and you are in good shape.
