I picked this up expecting a fantasy romance with some sword-fighting and tension between the leads. What I got was that, plus a fairly steady drip of content that adds up faster than the summary lets on. Powerless lands in our Moderate bucket, which means it is listenable with the right filters running but not something you just throw on without a second thought. The violence is the biggest time commitment. There are 116 tagged segments, and the longer scenes run deep enough that you will lose just over twenty-five minutes to that category alone.
