Mockingjay finishes the Hunger Games trilogy by turning the arena into a full war, and the content data reflects that shift almost entirely in one category. Violence accounts for 57 tagged moments and about ten and a half minutes of audio, with eleven severe scenes, the longest a little over twenty seconds. Everything else is small. Profanity is barely there, five moments and about three seconds, though there are three severe slurs. Sexual content runs about three minutes over seven moments, almost all mild, and there is one moderate romance moment, a few substance use tags, and a single hate speech moment. All told, about sixteen minutes come out of an eleven hour book. The thing to understand is that the violence is the story here, and Collins writes it to hurt. For a teenager who has already finished the first two books, I'd filter slurs and severe violence and leave the rest, which takes the sharpest edges off without blunting what the book is saying about war. If your listener is younger or especially sensitive, add moderate violence and sexual content too. Adults can probably listen with only the slur filter, since the language is close to spotless and the war is the whole point.
