11h 49m audiobook, 80 filtered segments, 1.6% of the runtime gets skipped at full strength.

Prisoner of Azkaban is the gentlest of the middle Harry Potter books when it comes to severity. Of its 80 tagged moments, only three are rated severe: two short slur tags and a single violence moment that lasts about two seconds. That is it. The rest is mild and moderate material, and it is dominated by violence, with 50 moments that add up to around ten minutes of the eleven and a half filtered overall. Most of that is the creature attacks and scuffles you'd expect from the story of an escaped prisoner and the dark guards sent to find him. Profanity shows up 16 times, mild and moderate, and it totals about ten seconds. Blasphemy is entirely mild, and two substance use moments account for about a minute. Out of nearly twelve hours, you'll lose 1.6 percent. For most families, this is an easy book to leave mostly unfiltered. If you have a sensitive younger reader, turn on Violence at the moderate level and add Slur and Profanity, and they'll get the original, cleaned up, with Jim Dale's narration intact. For kids ten and up who made it through the first two books comfortably, I wouldn't bother with more than the slur filter. This one earns its reputation as a fan favorite without asking much of a parent.
